I'm back!!

Yes, I know...I haven't blogged for a long long time but I will try to keep one going this time! I will be blogging more about our little adventures and happenings with pictures of course!! :)

Sweet Summer!

What a wonderful day to go Strawberry Picking!!! The weather was so nice,

there were no bugs and it wasn't too hot! We went with Nathan's Aunt and five of her kids. They boys just had a blast!

This is Tyvan eating one of many strawberries. He enjoyed staying by Mommy, eating strawberries and playing with green bugs! He would never look at me to get a good picture of him, he was enjoying his strawberry way too much!!! All I kept hearing was "bite, bite....mmmm nummy!"

Not sure if you can totally see, but this was one of the green bugs that Tyvan was loving!

On the way home, we had yummy ice cream....the boys thought it was great! Eating as many strawberries as they wanted and then ice cream....yum!

This was the only picture I got of Brendyn. He had so much fun with the other kids, I hardly saw him....but I sure heard him! Every time I looked up, he was either laughing or eating strawberries!

The boys and I love summer! Now it's time to get ready to go camping...yay!! Were excited! :)

Just another day!

Our days around here always seem to be filled with lots to do! Here are just a few pictures I thought were cute that I wanted to share with you.

Brendyn always wants to be like daddy! He will wake up super early so he can share breakfast with daddy and do anything he can to be with him! As you can see in the picture below that he wants to go to work, just like daddy! If he only knew!!!

With unpacking all of our stuff we have had many many boxes. The boys just love playing in them and putting EVERYTHING they can find in them....including themselves!

Baking has been a joy to do with the kids. We seemed to have baked many yummy desserts lately. As you can see from the picture, Brendyn's favorite part is licking the mixer after were done :)
Our garden has been one of the biggest projects here! There are SO many rocks, big rocks too! So Nathan got the skid loader and tried to move the rocks and level out the yard! The boys had too much fun driving with daddy!

As I said, these are just a few pictures I wanted to share with you. I hope you are all enjoying your summer!!

Out And About!

Well, we are finally getting settled into our new place. We still have alot to do, but it is really nice to be together! We have been super busy, but we still have lots of fun! Living out of town is such a blessing for us, we love it!!! We see Nathan alot more as he gets to come home for lunch and the boys watch out the window all day as big trucks, tractors and 4-wheelers drive by. All I hear from Tyvan all day is "Daddy, Daddy, Tactor, Mack, Z Wa!!!" It's great!!

A few weeks ago, Nathan wanted to take the boys gopher trapping. There were alot of gophers in one of the corn fields so we went out on the ranger and set a few traps. The boys had lots of fun digging the holes and putting flags in the ground. The next day we checked them....we had caught 2!!! When we went to the first one, Brendyn kept asking if he could shoot it!! He is a true Petron! :) On the second one, Tyvan wanted to pet it and kept saying "Kitty...Kitty!!" I didn't let him touch it....they are kind of gross looking!!

Brendyn already knows how the crops grow, when they are spraying and what the tractors are doing in the field! We have been in the tractor many times with Nathan while he was planting, the boys just can't get enough of it all! Tyvan seems to relax and take it all in, while Brendyn is asking 101 questions....wanting to know what each button does, and how the potatoes go into the ground! Nathan is drilled with lots of questions, especially when he gets home from work....Brendyn is always waiting at the door asking "so Dad, what did you do at work today? " Nathan answers, then Brendyn reply's with "then what?!" over and over again until Nathan is out of things to say! It sure is cute! :)

Nathan sprays the crops, but the potatoes are getting too big so they get a chopper to come out and spray. It's pretty cool to see! The chopper will land on top of the truck, a guy will fill it up and off he goes. The boys totally enjoyed it, and of course Brendyn asked more questions! :)

As you can see in the picture below, the chopper is getting filled up. Nathan is the guy in the white shirt right under the chopper....very loud!!!

This is just a cute picture of the boys enjoying themselves in the corn field!

We are totally enjoying our summer out here! I just love being around all the farming and fields....they are so incredible! You might think I'm crazy, but I just think that the fields are so pretty and I really enjoy watching everything grow (and eating it of course!!).

Ah the joy's of boys!

Just yesterday, we were all sitting at the dining room table when Brendyn informed me that he had something up his nose!!! I asked him if he could go and get a tissue from the bathroom, Tyvan followed of course. They were gone for a few minutes, but I thought that Brendyn was just blowing his nose in the bathroom.....when all of a sudden Brendyn runs through the kitchen to the table with toilet paper in hand unraveling behind! I really wish I had a camera, but I was more concerned in trying to save the toilet paper!!! I am used to saving toilet paper with Tyvan around! :)
